Hi! I hope everyone's having a great summer so far. I thought I'd just share the makeup products I brought with me to my 4-day beach trip.
|
Nivea Sun Whitening Immediate Sun Protection For Face with SPF 50 |
Obviously, I brought sunscreen with me and I like to use only those sunscreens meant specifically only for the face. I didn't bring facial moisturizer with me anymore, so I intended to use this both as moisturizer and sun protection. I don't have very nice things to say about this product but I'll just save that for a separate review. Nevertheless, it's got really high SPF so it was pretty perfect for the beach.
|
Clinique All About Eyes Serum |
I didn't bring eye cream with me either but this was perfect for moisturizing my undereyes. It's also really great to bring for on-the-go trips since it's really easy to apply and isn't as messy as cream is. I loved having this around!
|
Maybelline Clear Smooth Minerals BB Cream with SPF 26 |
I just thought this would be really practical if you want some coverage while you're on the beach and moisturizer and sun protection at the same time. I love that it's got SPF 26!
|
Stila Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 15 in Shade 01 |
This kinda had the same purpose as the Maybelline BB Cream, except I just brought this since it's a different shade and thought I might need it as I might get darker during my trip. SPF isn't as high as the Maybelline BB Cream, but I still appreciated it.
|
Clinique All About Eyes Concealer in Light Golden |
Of course, this was my most important product since I'm obsessed with concealing my undereyes. I loved how easily this could be applied on the undereyes even without a brush.
|
Pür Minerals 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup with SPF 15 in Light |
This was another really convenient product since it's made with minerals, it's got SPF 15, AND it's PRESSED. I hate loose powders so I was really glad to have this during my trip. Loved it!
|
Suesh Mini Mini Flat Top Kabuki Brush |
This was the only brush I brought with me to the trip since it's compact and has its own pouch. I basically just used this for my mineral foundation. It's a really great brush to bring with you outside the house.
|
CoverGirl Brow & Eye Makers Brow Shaper & Eyeliner in Midnight Brown |
Brow pencil is the easiest to use on your brows, specially when you're in a hurry. This isn't my favorite brow pencil though.
|
Maybelline Volum' Express Waterproof Cat Eyes Mascara in Feline Black |
The reason I brought this mascara is because it's the hardest mascara to remove. Perfect for swimming!
|
Body Shop Shimmer Waves in Blush |
I didn't get to use this product at all. I just thought I might need it in case I needed to add a little color to my lids, but that opportunity never came up. Nevertheless, I still think it was a great product to bring since it can be used both as blush and eyeshadow.
|
Lip Balms
Carmex Click Stick Lip Balm with SPF 15 in Strawberry
Chap Stick Classic Lip Balm with SPF 4 in Cherry |
Another important necessity - lip balms. I brought two just in case I lost one of them, but if you've read my previous post, you'll know that I favor Carmex more since it's got higher SPF and I feel like it does a better job at moisturizing the lips.
|
Estee Lauder Pure Color Crystal Lipstick in Crystal Pink |
I loved having this product around as well because it's got a lovely sheer pink shade - perfect for everyday use, and it's pretty moisturizing on the lips as well.
|
Clinique Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss in Grapefruit |
Didn't get to use this product either but I just couldn't resist not bringing lip gloss with me. :P
|
Prestige Dual Sharpener |
Lastly, another really convenient product since this is what I used to sharpen my brow pencil. Extremely helpful!
So there you have it! As you can tell, I didn't bring much makeup with me. I just brought the necessities and they were more than enough for me.
What makeup products do you bring with you when you go out of town? I'd love to know.☺
I like those stuff you brought with you on the beach. A little coverage won't hurt, I agree. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Pammy! I was thinking, I'm not gonna be swimming the ENTIRE time anyway, so why not bring a little makeup with me, right? :)

ReplyDeleteHi Kat! I've yet to try Missha's BB Cream, but I'll probably give it a go once I run out of my Maybelline BB Cream. Oh, and I'll definitely check out your giveaway and participate! :D
ReplyDeleteHi Vintage Makeup! I've been wanting to get my hands on the 4-in-1 Pressed Makeup for the longest time as well. I'll probably post a proper review on it in the near future. :)
ReplyDeleteAWWw I'm so envious of people talking about the beach! It's going on winter in Australia right now :(
ReplyDeleteYou went so prepared!!! You have inspired me to gear up for my next trip :)
Btw I'm your newest follower!
Hi Chococcuro! I wouldn't mind some winter right now; sometimes the heat here can drive me absolutely crazy. Where are you going on your next trip? :)
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I really appreciate your being a follower of my blog!! :D Thank you!
hi i just want to ask you, where'd you buy clinique all about eyes concealer? :) Is it available here in the Philippines? And how much.. in philippine peso! :)coz im planing to buy one. THank you so much!:) Btw, you are really great!:)
ReplyDeleteHi Ailene, I actually bought mine when I was out of the country but I'm pretty sure you can get that here in the Philippines too at Clinique counters (inside Rustan's, etc.). I bought mine for around Php 1,400, but I'm sorry, I really can't say whether it's cheaper/more expensive here in the Philippines. I'm pretty sure though that if ever there is a price difference, it won't be so far off. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the kind words and for reading my blog! I sincerely appreciate it! :D
hi, i also love clinique all about eyes concealer, do you have any other favourites concealer for under eye beside that one?
