My Graduation Day Makeup

Hello everyone! I'm finally "officially" a college graduate! It feels so weird saying that because for four years, I always referred to myself as an "undergraduate". Feels so surreal!

Anyways, for my graduation ceremony and my graduation party, I wore a dark purple dress, so I decided to match that with purple shades of eyeshadow. Here are pictures of my eye makeup that day:

It was a pretty long day. The graduation ceremony took place during the afternoon, and then I had a party with my family and relatives the entire night. So glad my makeup stayed on quite well! However, as always, the Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencil that I applied on my waterline had smudged by the time the party had started, so I had to reapply.

I don't know if it's just me, I mean I know I need loads of practice with applying eyeshadow since as I mentioned previously that I barely wear eyeshadow regularly, but I've just been so disappointed lately with the Coastal Scents 78 Palette. I just feel like they're not as pigmented as I initially thought they were, and as everyone claims them to be. I had such a hard time defining my outer lid corners with a darker purple shade since it barely showed up. Because of that, I now plan to invest on better eyeshadows, but it's just quite disappointing since I still have A LOT left of the CS 78 Palette.
